Child Trauma Research Program

Mission

We create, deliver, and disseminate mental health interventions that repair the impact of trauma and promote health for children and caregivers from pregnancy through age 5.

Our work is science-based, relationship-focused, family-centered and culturally informed.  We train mental health clinicians, family-serving providers, and systems of care to heal trauma for children, families, and caregivers in the Bay Area, nationally, and all over the world.

Our Values

We endeavor to be guided in all our activities by principles that are:

Relational

We foster loving and protective relationships in the families we serve and we strive to create an inclusive, trusted and supportive workplace.

Courageous

We promote healing by helping children, caregivers, and providers face their deepest fears and discover sources of hope and joy with
one another.

Growth Minded

We value expertise and believe in continuous improvement in all we do.

Rooted In Social Justice

We acknowledge the impact of historical and current sociocultural inequities and trauma on the families and communities we serve and partner with them to improve their circumstances and amplify
their voices.
