Directions

 

Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital is on Potrero Avenue between 22nd Street and 23rd Street. Building 20 is a red brick building on the 22nd Street side of the Hospital. We are located on the first floor. Due to construction, you may enter Building 20 one of two ways. If you are entering from 22nd Street, go to the entrance of Building 1 and continue walking until you see "20" overhead. Immediately before the elevator, take a right. If you are entering from 23rd Street, follow the signs that lead into the Main Hospital. Once in the Main Hospital, simply follow the signs that lead to Building 20. Once you enter Building 20, take a left and then an immediate right. You will go down a smaill hallway to a door with a glass window. This is the entrance to our clinic. Please ring the buzzer for entry.

From the East Bay: take the Bay Bridge (I-80W) and continue on US-101 S. Take the Cesar Chavez Street exit. Follow signs for Potrero Avenue and merge onto Potrero Avenue. San Francisco General Hospital will be on your right.

From the South Bay: take US-101 N and exit toward Potrero Avenue/Cesar Chavez Street. Make a slight left at Bay Shore Blvd and stay on Bay Shore Blvd. Continue on Potrero Avenue. San Francisco General Hospital will be on your right.

From the North Bay: take the Golden Gate Bridge (US-101 S) toward San Francisco. Exit onto Richardson Avenue/US-101 toward Lombard Street. Turn right at US-101/Van Ness Avenue. Merge onto US-101 S via the ramp to Oakland/I-80/San Jose. Take the exit onto US-101 S toward San Jose. Take the Cesar Chavez Street exit. Follow signs for Potrero Avenue and merge onto Potrero Avenue. San Francisco General Hospital will be on your right.

Parking

 

There are free 1 and 2 hour parking spaces on streets around the hospital. There is paid parking (hourly rates; max. $12/day) at the San Francisco General Hospital Garage located at 2500 24th Street (between Utah Street and San Bruno Avenue).
