Internships & Fellowships
Paid one-year postdoctoral positions and MSW internships available.
CTRP’s training program has a 30-year history of being a launchpad for graduates to take on influential roles in early childhood clinical practice, training, research, and policy across the country. Clinicians in training benefit from the academic rigor of UCSF, exposure to cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to health equity that shapes the future of the field. Training includes recognizing and conceptualizing collective trauma, as well as exploring how clinical practice can be a powerful act of social justice.
We have deep roots in community partnership and have developed longstanding, meaningful relationships with grassroots and community-based agencies serving historically marginalized communities. They serve as our primary referral sources and training sites for selected community-based positions.
CTRP offers advanced postdoctoral clinical positions and MSW intern positions, which offer specialized training in CPP and PCPP, with the option of CPP-based group interventions. We have a robust team of clinical supervisors holding a direct lineage to the original developers of the model. We offer high-quality reflective supervision that provides an in-depth understanding of the theoretical foundations, clinical application, and real-world complexities of working with trauma-exposed children and caregivers.
Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
